A new update to Pharmaceutical Substances was released on January 16, 2006. The new release includes 8 new active pharmaceutical ingredients and a new built-in structure editor.

The all new Java Applet drawing tool not only comes with greatly enhanced functionality (now matching ISIS/Draw and ChemDraw), but also renders Pharmaceutical Substances compatible with Mozilla browsers (e.g., Firefox) on PC's and Safari 2.0 (on MAC's running OS X) (in addition to IE on PC's).

With version 2.3, Pharmaceutical Substances now also supports ChemDraw 9.0.
